(ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal DAR, jiġifieri, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 milwija biex tifforma angolu rett u titqiegħed fuqnett tal-ġbin fuq quddiem bil-pala tħares ’l isfel bis-swaba’ jħarsu lejn il-ġenb. L-id timxi bi skoss ftit ’il quddiem. (iii) Fl-aħħar, id waħda tieqaf bil-forma ta’ 5 miftuħa bis-swaba’ apparti. L-id l-oħra tieħu il-forma ta’ F u tmiss is-saba’ taċ-ċurkett tal-id il-wieqfa qisu qed iddaħħal ċurkett.

It-tieni sinjal juża l-ewwel żewġ partijiet biss.

Varjant tas-sinjal juża s-sinjal ta’ MARA flok ta’ OMM, s-sinjal għal NADDAF imbagħad is-sinjal għal DAR.

There are two very similar signs for HOUSEWIFE. The first sign consists of three parts. (i) The first part is the sign for MOTHER. This is made with one hand in the shape for a fist with palm facing outwards. The hand taps twice on the cheek. (ii) The second part is the sign for HOUSE. It is made with one hand in the shape of 5 bent at the knuckles such that it forms a right angle. The palm faces downwards. The hand is placed at the front at the top of the forehead with the fingers pointing towards the side. The hand then moves jerkily forward. (iii) Finally, one hand takes the shape of open 5 with fingers apart. The other hand takes the shape of F and touches the ring finger of the stationary hand as though to put a ring on the finger.

The second sign uses only the first two parts.

A variant of the sign uses the signs for WOMAN instead of MOTHER and the sign for CLEAN followed by the sign for HOUSE.
